Directions
   
1.

Take the N1 from Pretoria to Polokwane (Pietersburg).


2.
There are three tollgates to take into consideration:
        * The first, Pumulanie Tollgate
        * The Second, the Carousel Tollgate
        * The third, Kranskop Tollgate

3.
   At the third tollgate (Kranskop Plaza) use the left gate and proceed on the R33 to Modimolle (Nylstoom)

4.
Go straight through Modimolle(Nylstroom) towards Vaalwater. This is about 60km.
        * We request all guests to phone the lodge when passing through Nylstroom.

5.
Pass straight through Vaalwater. Do not turn off anywhere.
 * Please DO NOT take the right turn (R33) to Lephalale (Ellisras) at the Spar Supermarket/Total Garage,  keep straight on the Thabazimbi road. Please DO NOT take the Bakkerspa (Welgevonden South Gate)  turn off - Keep going straight on the Thabazimbi road.

6.
Welgevonden Main Gate will be on your left hand side coming from Vaalwater.

7.
 The Welgevonden Main Gate is +- 25km, 15 minutes from Vaalwater. Look out for the Tourist Information board on your left hand side informing you about the Welgevonden Main Gate.

8.
Total km from Pretoria is approximately 210km

9.
 Welcome to Welgevonden Nature Reserve!!! A Shibula Ranger will be waiting to greet you.

Transfers
Should you require a road transfer to the Welgevonden Reserve’s main gate, we can arrange it. Charter flights can also be arranged.
