Rather than stay at a lodge or tented camp, you can now bring your family or friends to Zambia and rent a spacious designer house fully staffed with house manager, private chef and waiters.
Safari Houses of Zambia offers five stunning homes for exclusive group rentals. Each property is distinctive, built using the finest natural materials and set in extensive grounds. Guests can tailor-make their own holiday experience, whether they want to track leopard at dawn, drink cocktails at sunset or simply laze beside their private pool. Each house has its own wildlife guides, private vehicles for game drives and armed scouts for walking safaris. All the houses offer luxury, service, space and privacy - ideal for families or groups of friends.

Pumulani Lodge
Pumulani, opened 1st July 2008, is situated on the Westside of the Nankumba Peninsula in the South end of Lake Malawi – romantically called “The Lake of Stars”. The Nankumba Peninsula is recognised as one of the most beautiful shores of the Lake and borders Lake Malawi National Park. This Park was established in order to protect the cichlid fish unique to the area.

Shiwa Ng'andu House
Deep in the remote heart of Africa, Shiwa N’gandu is a majestic house built in the 1920s in the style of a traditional English country home. Loaded with history, it has recently been converted into a magnificent and exclusive lodge. The original brick mansion and its surrounding 40 square-mile estate were built by Sir Stewart Gore-Browne in what is now northern Zambia. A former British Army officer who fell in love with the African bush.
