We run many different kinds of walking safaris in Southern and East Africa. You can do a walking safari for the more experienced hiker - where you hike 6 to 8 hours a day - or come on one of our wildlife walking safaris where you'll generally only go on a moderate walk for about an hour or so in the morning and afternoon or, come on one of our mobile camping safaris where we have short walks during the day to visit points of interest like the bushman rock paintings. Our walking safaris range from 1 day trips to as long as 20 day trips. Walking safaris offer excellent photographic opportunities and a great alternative if you want to see more of Africa and spend less time in vehicles with more time out in nature. All Walking Safaris are led by qualified guides who have had intensive specialised training in field guiding.

One of our most popular walking safaris is in the Kruger National Park where you stay in a private tented camp and walk out into the bush with a qualified guide every morning and afternoon to get close up to the Big Five.
