CAPE POINT TOUR

Enjoy a Cape Point tour of the Southern most tip of Cape Town in the Western Cape, experience this Cape Peninsula tour with Jenman African Safaris. Cape Point is one of the most dramatic and scenic locations in the Western Cape. It is the most south-western point of the African continent and the dramatic cliffs, stunning scenery and the unique fynbos (fine bush) vegetation make it a must-visit destination for all tourists coming to Cape Town. This is a full Cape Peninsula tour.

Includes: Picnic lunch, transport, qualified guides, entrance fees and cycle trip.

Tour Overview:
We follow the Atlantic coast past Clifton, Camps Bay & Llandudno, to the fishing village at Hout Bay. Here we do a 1/2 hour scenic boat cruise to visit the impressive seal colony (at your own expense R35 per person). Then it's on over the Constantiaberg Mountains to Soetwater where we begin our optional cycle of 24km to the Cape Point Nature Reserve where we serve a buffet-style picnic lunch. We then continue to Cape Point, where you can choose to dimb the hill to the lighthouse or take the funicular. There is also a 1/2-hour cliff-top hike from Cape Point to the Cape of Good Hope, the south-westernmost tip of the African continent. En route back to Cape Town we will visit a colony of rare African penguins at Boulders Beach in False Bay (at your own expense R25 per person). We then follow the road through the leafy southern suburbs.
 

CAPE WINE TOUR

Enjoy our Cape Wine Tour which takes you to the Cape Winelands for a picnic lunch and wine tasting tour of Cape Town.

The Cape Winelands are situated just outside of Cape Town: a picturesque region of rolling vineyards, historic wine estates and quality wine tastings. Charming, old towns and the beautiful countryside are highlights of this tour.

Tour Overview:
 We visit Stellenbosch, Paarl and Franschhoek, with a cellar tour included and wine tasting in each region. Enjoy spectacular views during a sumptuous picnic lunch and return to Cape Town via Bloubergstrand for that dassic view of Table Mountain across the bay!
 

WEST COAST SPRING FLOWER TOUR

Explore the West Coast on our West Coast Spring Flower Tour in Cape Town, South Africa. This tour includes Darling, Langebaan, West Coast National Park and Saldanha Bay.

An opportunity awaits you to appreciate the endless stunning floral displays that blanket the West Coast during the spring flower season.

This tour is offered as a seasonal tour between beginning of August and end of September. This amazing day trip is gaining popularity because of its unique scenery, National Park and interesting coastal and inland villages.

Your trip includes the highlights Mamre, Darling, Langebaan, West Coast National Park and Saldanha Bay. As a optional you may consider to visit an ostrich farm en route. Lunch stop-over will be in Langebaan.
 

WHALE WATCHING

Join Jenman African Safaris on our Whale Watching tour in Cape Town. Enjoy whale watching in Gansbaai and see some Southern Right Whales and even some Dolphins!

Gansbaai is generally regarded as one of the best whale-watching sites in the world, and whether it is from a boat or from the shore you are almost certain to come across whales cavorting in the bay.

Southern right whales breed along the coast between July and December. The whales come close in-shore to breed and calve, and to get a close-up view of these gentle giants a boat trip is definitely the way to go.

Tour Overview:
An early morning drive brings us to Gansbaai, which is about two hours from Cape Town, where we board the boat. The boat will bring us to a nice spot where we can view the mammals of the deep seas. A light finger lunch is served on the boat. Besides these gentle giants you also might be able to view some Dolphins. After everybody is satisfied with some awesome, close-up whale viewing, we slowly head back to the to shore.
 

SKY DIVING

For a adventure experience of a lifetime, join Jenman African Safaris on a Sky Diving adventure in Cape Town. Take a Tandem jump in Cape Town, South Africa!

A tandem jump is the way to go if you want the ultimate joy-ride, or if you're unsure about skydiving, and want to try it out before committing to a full course. Experience the thrill of freefall without the effort of learning all the theory.

A tandem jump requires that you're in general good health. The maximum weight for a tandem passenger is 105kg , heavier persons at the discretion of the Tandem Instructor. Parental consent is required for jumpers under the age of 21.

Includes:
Ground instruction by qualified tandem master, tandem master's fee, scenic aircraft ride, use of equipment, packing fee and certificate.

Tour Overview:
On a tandem jump, you are strapped to a Tandem Instructor with a special harness that?s attached to a specially designed parachute large enough to support both of you. After only 15 minutes of ground briefing you will enjoy a spectacular 20 minute aircraft ride, experiencing the finest views of the West Coast, Cape Town, Robben Island and Table Mountain. Then it's action time! Out the door for a 120mph/200kph freefall, falling about 25 seconds from 9,000ft or for 35 seconds from 11,000ft. The Tandem Instructor opens the parachute at about 5000ft, and a peaceful 3-4 minute parachute ride to the ground follows.

You can have a video made and photos taken at an additional fee.
 

TOWNSHIP TOUR

Explore Cape town on a Township tour with Jenman African Safaris. This township tour includes the District Six museum, a craft centre and many other exciting township areas.

This township tour of Cape Town will introduce you to African culture, community life and history, while you meet the local township people.

It is an interactive tour and you will have the opportunity to speak to the local residents and possibly even be invited into their homes.

Tour Overview:
We begin in the Bo-Kaap with a drive through the Malay Quarter and a visit to the District Six Museum, then on to the Cape Flats where we go to Langa, Nyanga, Gugulethu, Khayelitsha & Crossroads, including a visit to a local shebeen for a taste of sorghum beer, the meat market, the Philani Women's Centre, a local creche, a herbalist and a craft centre.
